How to Rank First Page on Google?
In this guide, I’ll show you how to rank your blog at the top of the first page of Google’s search results.
You’ll love it if you want to get more visitors from the search engines.
This publication includes everything you need to know about blog Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
What is SEO?
We already know what SEO stands for search engine optimization. I hate Wikipedia definition of SEO because it is not in English. But for the sake of being accurate, here it is: “Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in the unpaid results of the web search engine.”
In my own words: SEO is optimizing your content in a way that causes a higher search result based on a certain keyword (s).
Think of SEO as the shiny wax you see on the apples in the supermarket. That shiny wax is so attractive that it makes more people choose bright apples over dull looking apples.
That was probably a horrible example of real life. Let’s not do that again.
In other words, SEO is the message to Google to choose to add your publication above others.
There are more than 2 million blog entries posted each day. You want to be on top. Many people do not go beyond the third page of Google’s search results.
How to Rank First Page on Google?
There are a number of factors that go into your SEO and increase the relevancy of the keyword. These include content writing, link building, site optimization and local optimization.
Let us begin…
Content Writing or Writing is the process of increasing the overall content of the site. Google helps you rank your site based on how much content you have in specific keywords.
For example, if your competitors have 20 content articles regarding “SEO Dallas” and only have 3 pages on it, then Google will always rank their highest competitor!
The content we write will be added to an “article area” on the site or within a “WordPress blog” that we would install on your site. As time goes by inside an SEO campaign, Smart SEO is continually writing more and more content on the website.
New videos, new content, new images and new blog posts are ways to increase the content of your website.
On-site optimization or page optimization is the process of touring the site and making changes to better improve ranking in search engines.
As part of site optimization, Smart SEO will change headers, title tags, metadata, page content, links and navigation to better provide search engines with the right content to achieve ranking.
The third area of intelligent SEO techniques is link building. Every link that points to your website is basically viewed by search engines as a sign of recommendation.
The more links you have pointing to your site, the more important is that Google sees your site and the higher you appear in Google’s search results.
Links can be built from a variety of areas including:
As part of our Local SEO procedure and this will depend on whether the client is targeting local or international results, Smart SEO can use the following SEO techniques to achieve local results.
Search engine optimization does not factor in Google Maps and other local search directories. To appear higher on Google Maps, you can use the following techniques:
Google My Business
Anchor Text Optimization
Improve Social Profiles Followers
Create & Claim Listing On Yelp
Google is the largest search engine and a very important traffic reference for most bloggers.
Be sure to follow these blog SEO tips so your content is ranked and you get search traffic.
